Chicken Pox
Definition
Chickenpox is a common skin
disease known to the public. Almost everyone from children to adults never had
chicken pox. Often we can estimate a person has been exposed to chickenpox
scars of the face, such as pockmarks.
Chicken pox is a disease caused
by the varicella-zoster virus infection. The virus is infecting people with
systemic properties, meaning the virus is thorough reaction, not local.

Symptoms
• Body condition
was reduced or not fit, weak and easily tired.
• Starting to
feel a mild fever with flu.
• Began to
feel pain in the ankle joint and pain, but not all people experience it, there
are only a few days of fever.
• In
children older than 10 years, the initial symptoms of headache, fever and a
sense of being unwell. Symptoms are usually not found in children who
are younger, symptoms are usually more severe in adults.
• 24-36
hours after the onset of initial symptoms, appear flat red spots (macula). Then
the prominent spots (papules), forming a fluid-filled blisters (vesicles) with
itching, which will eventually dry up. This process takes about 6-8 hours.
• Next will form
spots and the new blisters. Red bumps appear like bubbles of water on the
surface of the skin. Generally, first appeared in the chest area.
• After appearing
bumps or bubbles that contain water throughout the body, the incubation period
of chickenpox is about 2-3 weeks depending on the patient endurance chickenpox.
The stronger body resistance, the chicken pox comes out on the skin surface
just a little and dries quickly.
• Papules on the
face, arms and legs are relatively few, usually are found on the upper torso
(chest, back, shoulders). The spots are often found on the scalp.
• Papules in the
mouth quickly rupture and form open sores (ulcers), which often causes
swallowing disorders. Ulcers can also be found on the eyelids, upper
respiratory tract, rectum and vagina.
• Papules on the
vocal cords and upper respiratory tract sometimes causing respiratory problems.
• Could happen
pembengkaan lymph nodes in the neck side.
• Chickenpox
rarely causes the formation of scar tissue, if any, only a small indentation
around the eyes.
• Chickenpox
sores can become infected due to scratching and is usually caused by
staphylococci.

Incubation Period
Upon entry
into the human body, the virus will multiply and spread to the local network
through the bloodstream and lymph flow. Viruses multiply themselves back up the
virus spreads throughout the body and especially the skin and mucous membranes
reach.
Period contagious 1-2 days before
until 5-6 days after the onset of rash.
Duration of Sickness
Chicken pox has a maximum period
of 2-3 weeks.
Recuperation Characteristics
Fever has begun to recover,

Preventive Actions
• Active immunization over 10 years unless the request can be
given at age> 12 months.
• Passive immunization is given in the case of poor durability.
